#53 SWELL PERIOD

The time between two waves passing a stationary point, measured in seconds. Longer swell periods mean bigger waves. Surfers pay attention to this info for wave quality and size.

It is funny, eh?

How things come and go.

Waves.

Should I ‘ride’ this one?

Should I pass on it, and stick to the wave I am currently riding?

Should I get off this wave and get on the next one?

Some waves are fast.

Others take their time.

While others remain but morph.

There are so many examples of this, besides Fashion.

How one day they say you should not eat this.

Two years later, you should.

How one day they say you should not do this furniture.

Two years later, it is all the rage.

This colour is in, now it is out.

This Car Company is in.

No, it is not anymore, this car company is in.

Everyone is skiing on this ski.

Three years later, you do not see it anymore.

Haha, sorry about all of that.

I could go on and on.

I am picky with the waves I ‘ride.’

I usually stick with the wave I am riding, but I will morph it a bit.

There is one wave I have been riding all my life.

Minimalism.

I have always liked it.

It is easy.

I would not consider myself to be a minimalist, minimalist.

I like a few things here and there.

But if someone said I had to be out of my house by 10:00 PM, I would go for a bike ride and return by 5:00 PM and have no issues.

I like minimalist clothes too.

Simple.

You can say so much by saying nothing.

The ‘Story’ you are telling can be a ‘Short Story.’

It does not have to be long.

No big logo.

Understated.

I love one company that has this down.
