The Scout Motto.
It is a good one.
I like to use it in my ‘day-to-day.’
I like choice.
Not a lot of choice.
The choice between three things is more than enough.
I am better with a lower number.
If the choice gets bigger than five, I waver.
It influences the way I pack when I go away.
I like to have choice when I am away from home.
Prepared.
Nothing crazy.
It all fits into one bag.
Not be limited.
Not have to say, ‘I should have packed that.’
Packing is relatively easy when you travel like this.
You pack a few of your favourite combinations.
Sometimes, a new combo develops when you are away.
I never thought of putting this with that.
Plus, you are sure to come across something at a store.
Something that goes amazing with something you packed.
Something that you will be wearing that night.
I love what clothes do to you.
How they can affect everything you do and feel.
Change your mood.
Change your confidence.
Your outlook.
…always for the better.
It puts you in a better place.
And it is so easy to get to that place.
SIMPLE
You just put on something nice.
Something you love.
Do it every day.
If you are ever not feeling well and then get better, the nicest thing is a great shower and a great outfit.
It says, ‘I am back.’
There are two outfits for every day.
The one you put on to go out or to work.
The one you put on when you get home.
You know what is nice?
Up the ante on the one you put on when you get home.
Even if you are home alone.
Make it special.
It changes the night, it really does.
I have an outfit I ride in and an outfit I put on when I get home.
After a great shower, I dress up.
Not down.
Celebrate.
90% of the time, I am the only one who will see it.
90% is good.
90% puts me in a good place.
Mentally.
Positive.
Home confidence.
I do not need anyone to see me.
I just want to feel good walking around my place.
It makes for a better night.
It can be as simple as a great T-shirt and a pair of shorts.
It can also be a button-down shirt and a vest.
It can have you ready if someone shows up at your door.
All you do is put on a pair of shoes.
