#6 M3600

‘They’ say you should not wear cotton when you ride.

I am sure you are familiar with ‘their’ reasoning.

When cotton gets wet, it stays wet.

Takes a long time to dry.

A poor job keeping you cool.

But ‘their’ reasoning may not apply to you.

Maybe you do not sweat like that.

Maybe you prefer the feel of a natural fabric over a synthetic one.

Maybe you love your cotton Polo collection too much.

Maybe you say to ‘They,’ do not tell me what I can, or cannot do.

There are so many rules, so many things ‘they’ say not to do.

Who is ‘they?’

I like to wear what I want on my rides.

I get called out by the ‘Fashion Police.’

Get a few tickets, here and there.

I don’t mind.

I am happy and comfortable.

I think the tickets are for ‘looking too good.’

There are days when the temperature is perfect to wear cotton on a ride.

I do it all the time.

Days when you could use ‘a little warmth to keep your cool.’

I know you know those days.

Days when the temperature is just right.

Days when cotton is everything.

I wear a cotton T-shirt underneath.

I tuck the T-shirt in and leave my cotton Polo free.

Never had a problem.

Never will have a problem.

I have a ‘go-to’ when it comes to cotton Polos.

I have been going to them for years.

With cotton, it is all about fit.

And nobody has that cotton fit down better than Fred Perry.

I mean, I could go on and on, but it is the perfect fit.

Fred Perry describes it as a ‘streamlined fit,’ I describe it as a ‘streamlined fit.’

Fred Perry has a great eye for colour.

Their colour choices are always one colour away/off from the actual colour.

A colour you would not think of, but once you see it, you say, ‘Ya, I am in.’

Then, to finish off this colour, Fred Perry adds two fine stripes to the collar and sleeves.

‘Twin-tipped collar and cuffs.’

Fred Perry has it down.

I would love to sit in on one of their ‘colour meetings.’

You know what is incredible?

Can you imagine creating something so iconic and loved, that people know it by its style number?

M3600

If you Google M3600, the shirt shows up.

I will save you some time,

‘Always different, always the same.’

That is their tagline.

Spend some time on the site, not just the M3600.

They have amazing collections, and great collaborations.

Who does not want to ride with a laurel on their chest?
