I love Sundays.
It is my favourite day of the week.
I make sure I have something planned for Sunday night.
A concert, a dinner, a movie.
Something to look forward to.
Make Sunday night as good as Friday night.
Make use of every night.
I have a ritual on Sundays.
It has two parts that lead to my night out.
Part #1
Get up.
A couple of coffees.
Ride the track.
Get that part out of my system.
Come home, breakfast, clean up, and a shower.
Part #2
Part #2 is ride #2.
I love this ride.
My favourite T.
My favourite shorts.
My favourite belt.
My favourite cap.
My favourite belt.
It takes less than a minute to get dressed.
Total leisure.
Stop for beers.
Stop for nothing.
I like to ‘look’ on these rides.
See what people are wearing.
Different looks.
Different styles.
Combinations.
Shoes.
Hats.
I always see something interesting, something new.
Something I take home in my head.
Something that gets me thinking.
Something I will be wearing.
Something that may need a little ‘TJ’ tinker to make it mine.
I am lucky.
I live in a city that has so much style.
It can be overwhelming.
I told a friend, ‘It is a hard city to stand out in.’
Everyone dials it up, and everyone dials it up one step further on Sundays.
I think my biggest takeaway is always the combinations.
What people put together.
Not necessarily colours, but styles.
Anna Wintour has always intrigued me.
There is something about her.
Fascinating.
I cannot put my finger on it.
I feel like I need twenty fingers.
There is no woman in the Fashion World as highly regarded as her.
She, as I like to say, ‘sets the table.’
I came across a YouTube Video the other night.
She sat down for an interview during Paris Fashion Week.
It was a quick one.
Like just a five-minute one.
The best ones.
I would go as far as to say she has ‘Rock Star’ status.
Watch the hype that happens when she gets out of a black car.
She is around designers, photographers, magazines, models, couturiers, shows, shoots, actors, Haute Couture, Paris, London, New York, Milan, 24/7.
In the interview, she says she loves going to Paris because ‘you never know what you are going to see.’
But wait.
‘What you are going to see’ is not what you think.
It is not the shows during Paris Fashion Week.
It is something else.
She is ‘always surprised and always in awe.’
Wait for it.
‘To walk in the streets.’
I prefer to ‘ride the streets.’
But I like to think we are doing the same thing.
I have written about this in some of my past posts.
How much fun it is to take ideas from the street.
Kid on a skateboard.
Guy walking his dog.
Woman crossing the street.
Random basketball court.
Inspiration is everywhere.
The best thing ‘to walk in the streets?’
What you see is ahead of the curve.

There is one patio that I always end up at.
Believe me, you would too.
The style in their courtyard is incredible.
I have a beer and discreetly take it in.
I always leave with something.
‘As well as a little beer buzz.’
