Overwhelmed.
Believe me, I have things in perspective.
I put things in perspective.
But this is the feeling I get whenever about:blank does a ‘drop.’
It is that good.
I find the whole ‘drop’ thing fascinating.
I totally get it.
The reason why I get it so much is that everyone comes out a winner.
The Designer sells out.
No leftover inventory.
Create demand.
Create buzz.
Design, sell, and move on to the next drop.
Loyal clients.
What it comes down to for me as a client, is simple.
I acquire something unique.
Something I will not see anyone else wearing.
And most importantly, an item that will last a lifetime.
An item I will cherish.
The whole ‘Drop’ thing seems to be prevalent these days.
Everyone is doing it.
It can be a little much.
But if you find one designer you like, it is all you need.
I found one.
‘Man, oh man,’ I found one.
And ‘Man, oh man’ their drops are, well…
OVERWHELMING
I can say that for certain, you will not see one thing you would not purchase.
Best of all, you will be able to purchase it.
Their ‘drop’ numbers are limited, but if you get in there relatively early, for example, the next day or two, you will be able to get what you want.
It is run by two interesting guys.

They refer to themselves as ‘Minimalist Designers.’
I don’t want to get into that whole ‘quiet luxury’ thing here.
That is not what they are about.
I think it is even simpler than quiet luxury.
It is what I described in ‘#56 AUDIBLE FASHION.’
Really really nice clothes with just a little designer name on them.
A little brand identity.
I would put about:blank in my top three favourite designers.
They just have it down.
Like down, down.
Styles, sizes, colours, and selection.
They capture ‘eras,’ and make a whole new ‘era’ out of them.
The way it is sold.
Promoted.
Advertised.
Photographed.
Locations.
Settings.
Models.
I can only think of one other designer that does it this well, ‘Aime Leon Dore.’
I have been general here with my review.
I honestly did not know where to start.
Like, which item?
Which style?
Which colour?
Everything is so nice.
But maybe it is good I did a general review.
Let you get into them on your own terms.
