Do you read the ‘About’ on the retail sites you visit?
I like to read them.
Make it part of the purchasing process.
See how they started.
When they started.
How they started.
How they envision themselves.
What they are trying to do.
Who is behind it.
It will not make or break a purchase.
But it adds to the experience.
I have never been let down.
It is always the opposite.
Inspired.
Well written.
Great story.
The ‘Wow’ Factor.
Way to go.
That kind of thing.
I was on a site the other day.
FORÉT
I had not read their ‘About’ yet.
I could have written it by looking at their designs and styles.
There was a theme to the style.
There was a theme to the colours.
I read the ‘About’ and I was pretty close.
They said something that is near and dear to Derailleur.
‘When we founded forét in 2014, it was an old-time sense of the great outdoors we sought to recapture. No phones, no social media, just two friends growing up, playing together in the forests surrounding our hometown in rural Denmark.’
When you get on the site, you will see that they ‘talk the talk and walk the walk.’
It is evident.
Really nice ‘stuff.’
You can see the ‘forest’ in their styles and colours.
I love a company that has everything lined up so beautifully.
