STUCK ON ON

I stay out of view when I train. 

I stay out of view when it is ‘ON.’ 

I like to be alone. 

I am at my best when I am alone. 

I don’t want anyone to see me. 

I don’t want to see anyone. 

I do not need anyone. 

I know how to push myself. 

I don’t need anyone else. 

I don’t want anyone else. 

There are some ‘spots’ where I can do this. 

I have a couple of ‘phrases’ I use. 

Not out loud, just in my head. 

Not necessarily motivational. 

Sometimes they are normal. 

‘You will feel better if you do X.’ 

‘You have to do one more, if you do not do X.’ 

Sometimes they are because I know myself. 

‘You will have a better night if you accomplish X.’ 

‘You will be more satisfied if you do X more sets.’ 

Sometimes they are a little too harsh. 

‘Why would you even ride today if you did not do X.’ 

Sometimes they can be diagnosed. 

‘You have to see three cars with Vermont Plates, then you can finish.’ 

Sometimes I wonder if this is a good approach. 

But it works for me, so I don’t analyse it. 

But there is one issue. 

Haha, I obviously have lots. 

I do not know when to turn it ‘OFF.’ 

I do not know how to turn it ‘OFF.’ 

I leave my ‘spots,’ I am still ‘ON.’ 

I am even ‘ON’ on my way to being ‘ON’ 

But perhaps that is a good ‘issue?’ 

Maybe I do not need my ‘spots.’ 

Maybe I should just go for a ride. 

‘Stuck on ON’
