The nice thing about riding is that you are in tune with nature.
It is almost like nature is kinder to you because you are on a bike.
It ignores you when you are in a car.
You notice so much more.
You are aware of so much more.
Nothing life-changing.
Smaller things.
Things that add up to become bigger things.
The small yellow birds that ride along in front of you like Dolphins.
The branch that hangs low is now covered in berries.
The Groundhog has had babies.
The puddle that never seems to dry.
The Caterpillars crossing the bike path.
The Hawk gliding over.
The plant growing from a crack in the wall.
The baby Ducks are more on their own.
That cloud looks like a horse.
I am not sure what they really add up to.
Like if there will be an epiphany one day?
But I am not looking for that.
I just want to arrive home feeling a little more connected.
