MIC DROP

I have a post called BYOB.

Build Your Own Bike.

It is a short and simple post.

I combined my favourite elements from the types of bikes I have ridden into one.

It worked.

I knew the first 100 metres I rode it.

I love it.

I am one with it.

But others do not love it.

I hear ‘shit’ all the time.

Sometimes they do not think I hear them.

I do.

Sometimes they speak a different language.

I understand it.

Sometimes they give ‘the look.’

I see it.

This tends to happen when I am stopped.

At a light.

To be honest, I like it.

Their disdain is my power.

I know what is coming.

I know what to do.

My heart beats faster.

I watch the light.

I wait for it to change.

It changes.

I go.

I hear the distant clicking behind me, as they clip into their pedals.

But I am gone.

…And the last visual they have of me is my Ass.

‘Mic Drop’
