There is one thing I swore I would never do.
I swore that I would never look at my clothes and think for longer than one minute about what to put on to go for my ride.
So far, so good.
The more time I spend, the more I go down that rabbit hole.
…And what happens is, I come back to my original choice.
So, I make my original choice, my original choice.
But there is one exception.
One exception when I allow myself a little longer.
Sundays.
Early afternoon.
For some strange reason, it takes me longer to figure out what to wear on my ‘Anti-Fashion Fashion Ride.’
The ride I dress down on.
The Sunday afternoon one.
The perfect old T-shirt.
The perfect old pair of shorts.
The fabric belt with a long overhang.
I love this outfit.
I think it may be the reason why Sunday afternoon rides are the best.
A guarantee there will be a beer or two.
A nice Sunday afternoon buzz.
It is funny how dressing down can be harder than dressing up?
It is good for me.
But you know?
As I go upstairs, I think, ‘I will try another combo today.’
I never do.
Every Sunday afternoon ride, I wear the same T-shirt and the same pair of shorts.
The same T-shirt and shorts I put on when I got out of bed.
Why fool with something that works?
I have a go-to when it comes to T-shirts.
It took me a while to figure out the whole T-shirt thing.
I was buying the wrong ones.
I was buying any white T-shirt that was medium.
Three weeks later, they would lose their lustre.
Six weeks later, I am using them to clean my bikes.
I decided to up the ante.
Spend more and do a little digging.
It worked.
I found the best T-shirt company in the world.
I am saying that and so are they.

…And it is right here in Canada.
It is a little more than what you normally spend on a T-shirt.
But three years from now, when you go to put it on, it will be as good as new.
I have bought many things from ‘House of Blanks.’
Pretty well their whole line.
You will never find this kind of quality.
You will never find this kind of fit.
To be honest, it blew me away.
I will do a post about their hoodies.
There is no hoodie in the world as nice as theirs.
If you do purchase a T-shirt, pay attention to the fact that there is a Heavyweight style and a Midweight Style.
The difference?
I will describe it the ‘TJ way.’
The Heavyweight can basically stand up on its own.
This is the one I wear.
I like structure.
