I see you on my rides, but we never stop and talk.
We should.
You are easy to spot.
You beat to your own drum..
The unique lean into a turn.
The casual swing of a leg over the frame.
You made a conscious choice to defy the norms, eschewing the uniform cycling look, aka ‘The Kit,’ in favour of an authentic, individual style that reflects your true character.
You do not chase attention, it just naturally follows you.
I know you like to ride the way I do.
You just want to be alone, do your thing.
You want to meet other like riders, but in a way you don’t.
You want to ride and then disappear.
Not let the ‘others’ in on it.
It is special.
It is your thing.
It is your style.
The ‘others’ don’t know what they are missing.
Celebrate it.
The authenticity behind each ride.
Style as style.
Movement as style.
Riding has always and will always be focused on the kilometres ridden.
We are fine with that.
But what we are not fine with is how those kilometres are ridden.
We know the ride is so much more.
That the ride and the look are inseparable.
And letting our style tell our story.
What fascinates me?
‘Who are you off your bike?’
Insert curious emoji here.
‘There is Another Way to Ride.’
